Rügen in winter

Even in winter, the coastal and island climate is characterized by fresh and clean air, lots of sunshine and lively air movements. The beaches are deserted, this is the time where you will find absolute peace and relaxation for your vacation on Rügen. Let yourself be inspired by the island charm beyond the high and low season ! The Binzer pedestrian zone (about 3 min walk from our pension) radiates a special charm in the pre-Christmas period.
All important sights on Rügen are usually in operation in winter: The Königsstuhl with the National Park Center, the hunting lodge Granitz, the narrow-gauge railroad "Rasender Roland", the Cape Arkona, the "KdF-Bad" Prora, the ferries to the island of Hiddensee, the fun pool Inselparadies in the Baltic resort Sellin, the excursion boat to the chalk cliff and most museums. Go to Sassnitz and visit the harbor with Mohle, submarine and one of the fish restaurants!
